What we do, and what we don't.

J&L doesn't manufacture anything. We buy watches from the houses people actually want, keep them in stock, and sell them directly — which is why the prices look the way they do.

What we do add is the part that usually goes missing online: somebody looks at the piece before it leaves, somebody sizes it, and somebody answers when you write. Everything below is what we actually do, with the timings we hold to.

Before it ships

Every piece is handled, not just picked off a shelf.

Function: Winds, sets, and runs on every complication it has
Condition: Case, crystal, bezel and bracelet checked under a loupe
Completeness: Case, papers where supplied, and any spare links
Photography: We photograph the piece as it ships, on request

If something isn't right, the order doesn't go out — we tell you and offer the nearest equivalent or a refund. We would rather lose the sale than send a piece we haven't looked at.

Delivery

Insured, tracked, and signed for.

Spain and Portugal: 1–2 working days · included
Rest of the EU: 2–4 working days · included, duties paid
United Kingdom, Switzerland: 3–5 working days · included, duties at import
Rest of world: 5–8 working days · quoted at checkout

Every parcel is insured for its full value and requires a signature. We send the tracking number the moment it leaves us.

Returns

Fourteen days, no explanation needed.

Window: 14 days from delivery
Condition: Unworn, with the case and everything it shipped with
Collection: Arranged by us, at our cost, within the EU
Refund: Original payment method, within 5 working days of arrival

If a piece isn't right on the wrist, say so. Having the bracelet sized does not void a return — we expect you to try it on properly.

Warranty

Two years, handled by us.

Covered: The piece stops running or develops a fault in normal use
Not covered: Impact damage, water ingress, and ordinary wear
Turnaround: 10–15 working days, postage paid both ways
Process: One email to service@jandlwatches.com — no forms

We are the dealer, so the warranty is ours to honour: you deal with us, not with a manufacturer's service centre in another country.

Sizing

Tell us your wrist, we ship it fitted.

Bracelet sizing: Free, before dispatch — send your wrist circumference
Spare links: Sent in the case at no charge
Not sure of your size: Wrap paper round your wrist, mark it, measure flat

Send the number in millimetres with your order, or in a reply to the confirmation email, and it arrives ready to wear.
